Back in time to Dec 2005

Money mag came out this week with the BEST SMALL TOWNS IN AMERICA: #1 place is Louisville, Colorado, where we lived! So I could not help but look back in time at some pics B.C. (before children). It is really an amazing place to be...look it up if you are in the mood to go on vacation.
Here is my sis Kate, my cousin Branton Broussard & Steven at a major hangout spot in Boulder (minutes from Louisville), Mountain Sun! I think we paid their light bill while we lived there :-)

Here is my wonderful Colorado Family Aunt Ursula, Uncle Malcolm, and Ben Monlezun, they made Steven and I feel right at home. They all live in and around Boulder. This is downtown Boulder on Pearl Street. Great place to live and visit!
Here is Ben and I at Mountain Sun. Some of yall might know these family members listed in this post from school.

Okay so this house is our sweet little home in Lousiville, CO. Now first of all it is Dec in the pic so of course it is snowing, but people get the wrong idea that Colorado has snow all the time. Not true! Especially east of the Rockies, where Boulder, Louisville and Denver are.
Steven is in the door looking out..can you see him? We loved the snow here. It melted so fast once the sun peaked through the clouds.
Thanks for looking. I am not doing marketing for Colorado (wish I could :-) ), I was just breathing deep and wishing at this moment I could be in some snow in July!

Summer Time Fun...

Anna Katherine is sitting up very well and has started to crawl already! Little Miss Climber has already had some head bumps. Good thing she has a hard head...runs in the family :-)

Visiting family in Ruston, LA for the July 4th week, the girls had a great time with their cousins!

Madeline certainly enjoys watermelon...well all food, like her momma

Steven turned 34 on July 4th! What a cutie-pie...I think!

Mommy and daddy got a real date and went to Lincoln Parish Park. So pretty in and around Ruston, with all the rolling green hills you forget you are in Louisiana! This was a relaxing time.

The day we returned home from the Ruston trip, Anna Kate discovers her new friend the walker. Thank you Nanny Sarah for the gift!
Madeline is ready to see her first ballet recital to see her cousins in Lake Charles, but we would not go without...
...her ballet shoes in "tow"...couldn't help myself with the pun!
